As a UX Researcher, you will be pivotal in understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations through various research methods. This role is crucial for enhancing the usability and user satisfaction of our products and services. You will work closely with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that drive product development.
Responsibilities:
1.) Create detailed research plans with clear objectives to guide UX studies.
2.) Build comprehensive user profiles based on their needs, wants, motivations, and challenges.
3.) Design and administer usability research screeners, questionnaires, and discussion guides.
4.) Recruit targeted users for specific research studies tailored to the product's needs.
5.) Moderate one-on-one usability testing sessions to gather in-depth user feedback.
6.) Develop and implement quantitative surveys to validate user behavior hypotheses.
7.) Conduct interviews with clients and stakeholders to align research with business goals.
8.) Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover user insights and trends.
9.) Provide actionable and meaningful recommendations to the product team based on research findings.
10.) Present research findings to the larger team in a clear and organized manner, ensuring understanding and actionable outcomes.
11.) Work closely with the product team to identify and clarify research goals.
12.) Establish and execute an overarching research strategy that supports the product lifecycle from conception to launch.
13.) Employ a variety of UX research methods, such as card sorting, contextual interviews, focus groups, expert reviews, and A/B testing, to gather relevant data.
14.) Understand and account for user behavior differences and minority responses to inform design decisions.
15.) Continuously conduct UX research at all stages of the project to ensure the product meets user expectations.
